Selection Process
The selection process for Class VI admission is based on the performance in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). This is an objective-type examination designed to assess the mental ability, arithmetic, and language proficiency of the students. Following the written test, a merit list is prepared based on the scores obtained. Exam Pattern
The JNVST exam consists of 80 objective-type questions totaling 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. Each correct answer is awarded 1.25 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Divyang candidates are provided an additional 40 minutes to complete the paper.
