Job Description

Research Associate I (Project: Development of algal opto-biotechnological strategies for production of anti-inflammatory small molecules and micro proteins from green algae): This study focuses on using light-based biological methods to help green algae produce healing substances. These tiny molecules can stop swelling in the body. The goal is to find natural ways to make medicines more effectively. This research is funded by DBT.

Research Assistant (Project: Evaluating the Effectiveness of the PM-JANMAN Scheme (Pradhan Mantri PVTG Development Mission) in Improving Socio-Economic Conditions among the Sahariya PVTGs): This study examines how the PM-JANMAN scheme helps the Sahariya tribal community. It focuses on checking if the mission has successfully improved their living standards, education, and health. The goal is to understand how government support changes socio-economic conditions. This research is funded by the PM-JANMAN Project.

Eligibility

For Research Associate I:

  • Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology or related subject with strong academic record and NET (LS)/GATE/CSIR-JRF/ any other equivalent examination.
  • Desirable: experience in molecular biology, basic protein chemistry and cell biology.

For Research Assistant:

  • Ph.D./M.Phil./NET/ Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55% Marks.
  • Desirable: Academic writing and research in Social Sciences/allied fields.
