Gujarat Teacher Aptitude Test (TAT) 2026

The Gujarat TAT Exam is conducted in two stages: prelims and mains. Candidates who qualify for both exams are considered eligible for the post of higher secondary teacher.

Gujarat TAT Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

Gujarat TAT Prelims Exam will consist of 2 papers. Paper 1 consists of the questions from the general section, and Paper 2 consists of the questions from the subject-oriented topics.

• The objective types of questions asked in the Prelims exam.
• Each paper of the prelims consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
• Total duration of the prelims exam is 3 hours.
• There is one-fourth negative marking in this exam.
• The language of the examination is Gujarati, Hindi and English.

Gujarat TAT Mains Exam Pattern 2026

The Gujarat TAT Mains Exam consists of two papers; the first paper is all about the language subjects, which consists of the Gujarati/Hindi/English subjects. The second paper of the main examination is subject-oriented.
