The final selection is based exclusively on the performance in the Main Examination. Candidates must qualify in both papers to be considered for the final merit list.
Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Examination consists of a 150-mark objective paper (General Studies) with a 2-hour duration and 0.25 negative marking. The Main Examination includes two descriptive papers: Paper 1 (Gujarati and English Language) and Paper 2 (Accountancy and Auditing), each carrying 100 marks with a 3-hour duration.
