The consolidated remuneration is: Professor — ₹1,23,100/- per month (Level 13 of 7th CPC); Associate Professor — ₹78,800/- per month (Level 12 of 7th CPC); Assistant Professor — ₹67,700/- per month (Level 11 of 7th CPC); and Senior Resident — ₹67,700/- per month (Level 11 of 7th CPC), plus other allowances as applicable.
The contractual engagement is for 1 year, extendable every year up to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance, or till the joining of the regular incumbent, whichever is earlier. The maximum tenure shall not exceed attainment of 70 years of age. There is no claim for regularisation of service.
SC/ST candidates, Female candidates, Defence Ex-Servicemen, and PH candidates are exempt from the application fee. All other categories must pay ₹500/- through a Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Saving Fund A/c No.-2, payable at Namkum, to be submitted along with the application form. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

No. Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited during the contractual engagement. Selected candidates will not be allowed to work simultaneously as Teaching Faculty in any other Hospital or Medical College. Breach of this condition will result in termination of appointment and initiation of proceedings with NMC/SMC for cancellation of Registration Certificate.

Selected candidates must submit a non-interest bearing security deposit of ₹30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of 'ESIC Saving Fund Account No.2' payable at Namkum at the time of joining. This amount is refundable after successful completion of the contract upon production of a 'No Dues Certificate'.
Yes. Retired employees/pensioners may apply and if engaged, they may be allowed to draw total pay without any deduction. This is not treated as re-employment under CCS (Fixation of Pay of Re-employed Pensioner) Orders, 1986. They can continue to draw their pension and dearness relief on pension during the period of contractual engagement.
