Key Responsibilities

Selection Process
The selection process involves a multi-stage assessment designed to evaluate technical knowledge and operational aptitude. Candidates will first appear for a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT), which includes negative marking of one-third for incorrect answers.
Following the CBT, specific posts require additional testing. Assistant Loco Pilot, Station Master, and Section Controller roles include a Computer Based Aptitude Test. Senior Clerk positions require a qualifying Computer Based Typing Skill Test. Final selection is based on the merit list derived from these tests, followed by mandatory document verification and a comprehensive medical examination to ensure fitness for the specific railway duties.
