The selection process is conducted in two distinct stages designed to test both technical proficiency and interpersonal communication skills. There is no preliminary written examination; instead, candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance.
First, a Typing Test is conducted where candidates must transcribe a 500-word passage within 20 minutes. This stage carries 100 marks, with a minimum of 60 marks required to qualify. Second, successful candidates proceed to an Interview worth 20 marks, where a minimum of 10 marks is necessary to pass.
The final merit list is prepared based on a grand total of 120 marks, requiring a minimum of 70 marks for final selection.
