Job Description

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a notification for the CRPF Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026. How to Apply

Eligible & Interested candidates (Male/Female) must apply online only through the official CRPF recruitment portal.

  • Step 1: Visit the official website rect.crpf.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the link for “Recruitment for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) 2026” and register with basic details.
  • Step 3: Fill the online application form carefully with personal, educational, trade, domicile and other required information.
  • Step 4: Upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per specifications.
  • Step 5: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form.
  • Step 6: Take printout of the submitted application form and e-receipt for future reference. Carry two printouts of the admit card at every stage of recruitment.

Note: Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates must ensure they fulfill the domicile and trade-specific eligibility before applying.

Application Fee

  • Male (UR / EWS / OBC): ₹100 per post
  • SC / ST / Female (all categories) / Ex-Servicemen: ₹0 (Exempted)
  • Payment Mode: Online through BHIM, UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card or CSC Wallet

Age Limit

Constable (Driver): 21-27 years (born between 02.01.1999 to 01.01.2005)
Other Trades / Pioneer: 18-23 years (born between 02.01.2003 to 01.01.2008)
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection on the basis of following steps:-

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature (different race timings for Driver/Other Trades/Pioneer and Male/Female)
  • Physical Standards Test (PST) – Height, Chest (Male), Weight
  • Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 Marks (100 MCQs): Reasoning, GK, Maths, English/Hindi (Negative marking 0.25)
  • Trade / Skill Test – Qualifying (50 marks, minimum 20 required)
  • Document Verification (DV)
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME)

Final Merit: Based on CBT marks (subject to qualifying all stages). Separate merit lists prepared for Male/Female and each State/UT.
