  2. Login and fill the application form with accurate personal details, date of birth (as per matriculation certificate), educational qualification, and trade/post selection carefully.
  3. Choose the post/trade only if concerned eligibility conditions are met, including age, qualification, and technical requirements.
  4. Upload photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in application form (only clear and valid images should be uploaded).
  5. Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- (only for General, EWS, OBC male candidates) through online modes such as UPI, net banking, debit/credit card, or CSC wallet. SC, ST, female candidates and ex-servicemen are exempted from fee.
  6. Check payment status after fee submission to ensure it is successful.
  7. Before final submission, review all entered details carefully because no correction or modification will be allowed after submission.
  8. Submit the application form before the last date 2026-05-19.
  9. After submission, download and take a printout of the application form for own record. No need to send the printout to Central Reserve Police Force at this stage.

Age Limit

21-27 years for Driver posts, 18-23 years for other trades. Age reference dates for Unreserved category candidates: For 18-23 years posts, candidates must be born between 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008. For Driver (21-27 years), candidates must be born between 02-01-1999 and 01-01-2005. Upper age relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service, 1984 riot victims dependents: UR-5 years, OBC-8 years, SC/ST-10 years.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Computer Based Test (CBT), Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (DME/RME). Recruitment will be conducted on domicile-based pattern.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates will be required to qualify the race within prescribed time limits according to post and gender. Biometric verification will be conducted before PET. Candidates who will not qualify the race will be eliminated from the recruitment process and no appeal will be allowed.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Only candidates who will qualify PET will be called for PST. This stage will include measurement of height, chest and weight. Preliminary document checking for candidates claiming relaxation will also be done. Candidates declared unfit in PST will be allowed to appeal on the same day.

Relaxation in height and chest for specific region / communities will be applicable for reserved categories as per rules. All PET & PST qualified candidates will be shortlisted for CBT.

Trade/Skill Test

Candidates who will qualify CBT will be shortlisted for Trade/Skill Test. This test will be practical in nature and qualifying only. Candidates will have to perform trade-related tasks and must secure minimum qualifying marks (20 out of 50).

Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who will qualify PET, PST, CBT and Trade Test will be shortlisted for Document Verification. Original documents along with self-attested copies will be verified.

Medical Examination (DME/RME)

Shortlisted candidates will undergo Detailed Medical Examination to assess fitness. Candidates found unfit will be allowed Review Medical Examination. Final selection will be based on CBT marks subject to qualifying all stages.

In case of a tie in CBT scores, the resolution will be done by applying the following criteria in order until the tie is resolved.

  • Marks in Part-A of CBT
  • Marks in Part-B of CBT
  • Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher
  • Alphabetical order of names

Exam Pattern

Computer Based Test (CBT)

All candidates who will qualify PET and PST will be shortlisted for CBT. The test will be conducted in English and Hindi and will be objective type with negative marking of 0.25 marks.
