Selection Process
The selection process consists of a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT). There is no interview component. The exam evaluates candidates on core engineering subjects and general aptitude. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for certificate verification. The final selection is based on merit, reservation policies, and the preferences submitted by the candidate during the application process. Normalization will be applied if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.
Exam Pattern
The CBT comprises 100 questions for 100 marks. The paper includes 70 marks for core subject-specific questions and 30 marks for general sections, including General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

During the probation period (2 years on duty within 3 years), selected candidates receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹75,000. After successful probation completion, the regular Time Scale of Pay under RPS-2022 (starting at ₹86,245) applies.
