Selection Process

The selection process consists of a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam is conducted in English medium and lasts for 3 hours. Candidates are ranked based on their performance in the CBT, and final allotment to utilities is based on merit, reservation rules, and preferences submitted during the application process.

Exam Pattern

The CBT consists of 100 marks. The breakdown includes 70 marks for the Core Subject (Electrical/Civil/Telecom), 5 marks for General Intelligence & Reasoning, 7 marks for General Awareness, 5 marks for English Language, 8 marks for Quantitative Aptitude, and 5 marks for Computer Knowledge.
