Selection Process

The selection process consists of a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in English. The test comprises 100 marks, covering core engineering subjects (70 marks) and general aptitude/computer knowledge (30 marks). There is no interview stage. Candidates are ranked based on their performance in the CBT, with normalization applied for multi-shift exams. Final selection is subject to document verification and meeting the minimum qualifying marks criteria.

Exam Pattern

The CBT is a 3-hour exam consisting of 100 questions. The core subject carries 70 marks, while General Intelligence, General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge account for the remaining 30 marks. There is no negative marking.
