EMRS Librarian Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or a Graduate degree with a one-year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English mediums is often required.
The maximum age limit for the Librarian post is generally set at 35 years. Age is calculated based on the reference date mentioned in the official notification.
The selection process typically consists of a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification for the candidates who qualify based on the merit list.
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- PWD: 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules
