Odisha SSB Junior Stenographer 2026 Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates aspiring for the Junior Stenographer position must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Additionally, it is mandatory for candidates to hold a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA). Furthermore, the candidate must possess technical proficiency in stenography, including a typing speed of 80 words per minute.

To be eligible for the Junior Stenographer post, a candidate must fall within the age bracket of 21 to 32 years. This age calculation is determined as of 1st March 2020.

• Written Test: An objective-type test covering subjects like English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
• Skill Test: A practical evaluation involving computer and stenography skills to assess the candidate's actual job performance.
• Document Verification: The final stage where original credentials are scrutinized against the submitted information.

• SC/ST/S.E.B.C category candidates are granted a 5-year age relaxation.
• Women candidates are granted a 5-year age relaxation.
• PWD and Ex-servicemen are eligible for a 10-year age relaxation.
