The selection process is segregated by category to match the professional requirements of the roles.
Category 1: Involves two stagesβa Preliminary examination followed by an Interview. Only those who qualify in the preliminary stage are invited for the interview.
Category 2: Involves three phases. It begins with a Preliminary examination, followed by an Advanced Test, and finally, a Physical Standard test along with a Skill Test, concluding with an interview.
Age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms. Specifically, the age limits for SC and OBC categories are extended beyond the general age bracket for both Category 1 and Category 2 positions. Candidates should refer to the official notification for the exact cutoff date used to calculate age, as this is typically the critical date for determining eligibility.
