CIL MT EE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University or Institute. Final-year students are generally eligible provided they meet the percentage criteria at the time of document verification.
The upper age limit for the Management Trainee post is 30 years as of the crucial date specified in the official notification.
- Shortlisting based on GATE score (relevant paper).
- Document Verification (DV).
- Initial Medical Examination (IME).
- Final Merit List preparation based on GATE performance and eligibility verification.
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD (General): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines
