The CRPF SI examination is designed to test a candidate's aptitude across multiple areas, from technical knowledge to general comprehension. The structure is split into two primary papers.

Key Details:
- Paper 1 (Objective Type): This paper tests the fundamental aptitude of the candidate. The General Intelligence and Reasoning sections test logical ability, while the General Knowledge section covers topics such as Indian Polity, Current Affairs, and General Science. The General English section tests the candidate's communication and comprehension skills.
- Paper 2 (Specialized): This section focuses on the technical aspects relevant to the chosen post (e.g., Radio Operator, Technical, etc.). It encompasses deeper concepts in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
- Marking Scheme: The exam is objective, and candidates are advised to be aware of the negative marking policy (if specified in the notification) as it significantly impacts the final score.
